not sure on the age of this ginger jar. The body shows made in Japan, but handpainted in Hong Kong. Also, the letters HU are stamped on the bottom of this jar. The jar comes with a stand and a matching lid and measures 11 inches tall by 6 inches wide. It’s a beautiful piece that weighs about 2 1/2 pounds. No cracks or dings anywhere to be found.
